Our promises.
What we never do, what the app hears, and where to read the details.
We count. We never track.
Beacon's rooms have no cameras and no microphones, and we never know who anyone is.
At a venue, Beacon counts how many people are in each room. It keeps nothing that points to a guest.
Our rules: no line guesses anyone's gender or identity, and we put no sensors in anyone's home.
What the app hears
In the Movianx app, you can talk out loud with the people who live in a town. They are AI characters, and the app labels them on every screen. Talk is for adults, 18 and over.
- The microphone is on only while you hold or tap to talk. A light shows when it is listening.
- The audio never leaves your phone.
- Forget me, in the app's settings, erases what we keep about you.
- Ask her sincerely whether she is real, and the app answers plainly, outside the story.
Our Privacy page names every company that helps us run Movianx and what each one handles.
The waitlist
- Join the waitlist and we keep your email until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.
- We count visits to our pages without cookies.
No ads in our stories
No ads in the story, ever. Characters never sell anything.
In the app: no streaks, likes, follower counts or public counts; quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. by default; one-tap cancel; and no paid placement on the home screen.
If a brand commissions its own experience from Movianx, it is labeled as the brand's from the first second, opt-in, and never placed inside someone else's story.
AI, said up front
Wherever our characters speak, we say they are AI.
In the app, every resident is labeled as an AI character. At a Beacon venue, the first screen says the lines are written by Movianx and the voices are synthetic.
